These details are provided pursuant to Romanian Law no. 365/2002 on electronic commerce and Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 (“OUG 34/2014”).
2. Definitions
“Consumer” means a natural person acting outside their trade, business or profession. “Professional/Business client” means any client acting for purposes relating to its commercial or professional activity. “Services” means the advisory, compliance and market-entry services we offer, including the EU Ingredient & Compliance Screen.
3. Our services and information
Content on this site is general information about our services and does not constitute legal, regulatory, financial or tax advice. Specific advice is provided only under a signed engagement or a purchased service. Figures, timelines and examples are illustrative and are not guarantees of any outcome; market-entry results depend on factors outside our control, including your products, budget and decisions of public authorities.
4. Orders and formation of the contract
By completing checkout you make an offer to purchase. The contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. Prices are displayed in euro (EUR) and include applicable taxes where indicated. We may refuse or cancel an order where the service is unsuitable, where information is incomplete, or for legal/compliance reasons, in which case any payment taken is refunded.
5. Prices and payment
Payments are processed securely by our payment service providers. You confirm you are authorised to use the payment method provided. We are not liable for bank or provider fees applied on your side.
6. Right of withdrawal (Consumers) — OUG 34/2014
If you are a Consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. The period runs from the day the contract is concluded (for services). To withdraw, inform us by a clear statement at hello@gomeridian.eu before the period expires (you may use the model withdrawal form). We will reimburse all payments received without undue delay and within 14 days of being informed, using the same payment method.
Services begun during the withdrawal period: if you expressly ask us to start performing a service during the 14-day period, and the service is then fully performed, you lose the right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 16 of OUG 34/2014. If performance has begun but is not complete when you withdraw, you pay a proportionate amount for the work done.

7. Business clients
Where you contract as a Professional/Business client, the statutory consumer right of withdrawal does not apply. Cancellation, fees and refunds are governed by these Terms and any separate written agreement, which prevails in case of conflict.
8. Intellectual property
All trademarks, text, graphics, design and materials on this site and in our deliverables are owned by or licensed to Meridian Advisory and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them without our prior written permission. Deliverables are licensed to you for your internal business use only.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site unlawfully, to attempt to gain unauthorised access, to introduce malicious code, or to disrupt the site. We may suspend access for breach.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or a Consumer’s mandatory rights). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability arising from a purchased service is limited to the fees paid for that service. This does not affect the mandatory rights of Consumers.

We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites linked from this site.
12. Complaints and dispute resolution
We aim to resolve any complaint amicably — please contact hello@gomeridian.eu. As a Consumer in Romania you may also refer the matter to the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), anpc.ro, including its Alternative Dispute Resolution (SAL) mechanism (anpc.ro/ce-este-sal), or use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR/SOL) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged, and are not currently willing, to participate in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, without prejudice to your statutory rights.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes are subject to the competent Romanian courts, without prejudice to (i) the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence and (ii) your right to bring proceedings there where the law so allows.
14. Changes
We may amend these Terms; the version in force at the time of your order applies to that order. The “last updated” date shows the current version.
